I looked at several options for my one night stay (after the end of a safari trip and ahead of the departure of my homeward flight from Durban airport). The description & location of La Perle seemed an ideal choice - with a very attractive price point. And and so it proved to be.
The welcome I received from Christine on arrival could not have been warmer if I were a family member or close friend staying at her private home ; and the room I was shown to (‘Courtyard Superior’ I believe ?) offered peace and quiet with first class facilities. Special touches such as the (rather generous !) selection of complimentary fresh fruit were particularly appreciated. My stay was unfortunately a short one, though I did manage to enjoy an early-morning swim in La Perle’s well-maintained pool, followed by a freshly-prepared breakfast.
If ever needing accommodation in charming Ballito again (and I very much hope to make a longer visit at some point) I would have no hesitation in choosing La Perle.

I frequently stay at La Perle for business. This is the most comfortable and the location is great.

Best coffee and breakfast by far.

La Perle was such a treat! Very accessible. The perfect location in Ballito - walking distance from all the attractions in the surrounding, close by shopping centers, restaurants and the beach. The best coffee and two course breakfast with the loveliest staff, we ate at the restaurant one morning and chose to have breakfast in our room looking out the pool the other. Very modern and neat rooms which made the stay very comfortable. The receptionist was so helpful, we had an early morning arrival flight and late night departure, she took care of our bags and made sure we were taken care of while roaming around in Ballito. Will definitely be back, we had a blast!

I was thoroughly impressed by the immaculate condition of the room. It was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and other conveniences that made my stay even more pleasant. The daily provision of bottled water was a nice touch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Breakfast was customized to my preferences and delivered right to my room, which I greatly appreciated. Communication with the staff was seamless, making it easy to address any issues. I loved spending time by the pool, relaxing with a good book, and unwinding in the serene environment. The location of the property was perfect—just steps away from upscale restaurants and the beach, making it an ideal spot for a luxurious getaway.

Had an absolutely awesome stay at La Perle. The staff, hospitality, room and breakfasts are second to none. The hosts went the extra mile for me and I rate La Perle a solid 11/10!

The service was amazing, it was a last min booking because another lodge didn’t fulfill my expectations, La Perle welcomed us with the most amazing service. It’s truly beautiful

Service was excellent, food was great, and everything is super clean and very well maintained. The venue also has the critical amenities such as Wi-Fi and continuous power. Stay was absolutely perfect.

The stay and experience were great, I cannot wait to visit again. The service was great, cleanliness is top notch, and the location is so good close to the beach. I love it! I will definitely visit again with couple and family.

Great place to stay when in Ballito. Awesome location, friendly staff, great rooms, tremendous value. Would highly recommend anyone coming through town to stay here.

Hopefully next time I'll have a bit more time to enjoy the pool.
